In other news, I went to a tap dancing performance this afternoon. Unfortunately I was observing not participating, and even more unfortunately Fred Harmatz was not the one I was observing. And if you didn't think the unfortunate factor could get any higher, in the middle of a particularly great dance ... the girl next to me fell on the grass and started having a seizure. I called the police and then got out of the way for the 10 or so people who decided they knew how to handle the situation. The girl seemed relatively ok, and just as the dance ended - the sun came out and the now no longer seizing girl smiled and clapped for the performers, who obviously carried on with the show during all of this. The EMT pulled me aside for questioning, and when I came back - the curator had taken my seat! Larry David would have had a field day.
