it's much more than just 6 little lines
Today, sitting amongst my peers - I did what I usually do during Geology: not Geology.
I glanced at my row. I'd say we're all pretty different. There's the mute asian girl who takes meticilous notes. There's that football player type who thinks he's funny, but he really isn't. There's the boy who wears dress shirts to sleep and the girl who liked Beck in 5th grade. Sure we all get different grades in Geology, and sure, we all put different wrong answers as to why a rock is different than a mineral - but we all share one thing. One common ground that is universal knowledge to everyone my age.
We all know what a Stussy is.
We know what is looks likes, and we know how to draw one.
You hand someone a paper and they will draw their six little lines:

and complete it to make their angular little S:

Who knows how we learned it, who taught it to us, or why everyone knows it. But we did, they did, and we do. Maybe it's the Up Up Down Down Left Right Left Right B A Start of our generation. Or maybe not.
And just when I thought the was the extent of interest I could squeeze out of this doodle from the past, Football Player asked me a question that changed my life. Kind of.
FP: Did you used to draw little hats on them?
Are you kidding? Hats? No! On Stussys? Why didn't my school have that?
I have to go draw some hats on my stussys.
And don't be silly, of COURSE i'll post them.

wow. that was amazing. I used to wear stussy in middle school, with the joker thingy. I can't really remember exactly. Anyways...that's not the point. This posting was amazing.
you calling me "the girl that liked beck in the 5th grade" is like Kim Jong-Il calling
Kim Pyong-Il another one of his plebian North Koreans
I never knew what a stussy is - well, now I do. Another useful thing learned...
