All cleaned up and no one to see [it]

Because I spent a long time cleaning and revamping my room in the past few days, I would like to share it with you:

1) Bamboo. It really is quite uplifiting to have greenery about.
2) I didn't notice till now that while I have a mirror above my bed, Tegan has a cross (2A). The only thing I can gather from this is that I love myself about as much as Tegan loves Jesus.
3) My favorite Yiddish author.
4) Scarves - neck dresser uppers, handy bags, and now - wall decorations.
5) Super soft chair cover purchased by both Tegan and I at Ikea. So soft. So super. So covers the chair.
6) Probably my favorite addition - a throwback to last years curtain - twice the class, three times the material, and none of the practicality.
It doesn't do much by way of hiding from Tegan, but it is very convenient for photo shoots:

the cave wall returns in flowery aqua-mesh translucent form.
I'm not sure if the new version can hold up against the old one. I suppose the deal breaker is whether or not a better holding-up solution has been found. The thumbtacks were having a really hard time. Poor thumbtacks.

While the sheet-to-wall adhesion device of yesteryear were push pins, it is only this year that the thumb tack method has been introduced. And while much sturdier than the archaic push pins, they still fail to permanently bind the curtain to the wall. Though, if they did, I doubt the endearment level would be as high.

In this blog, I must protest the portrayal of me, your roommate, as a Jesus-lovin' voyeur. While there are worse things, I feel I must state that my love for Jesus and staring creepily at you through the curtains are both about as intense as my love for MSG. It nauseates me, but it does taste quite good...
