If I wrote for the Hughleys, I still think my dad would care more about my dinner

I woke up this morning feeling extra splendid. I almost updated, but decided to read Gawker instead.
Now, currently on a full stomach of Ikea frozen yogurt, and in a newly cleaned and Ikead out room - I am able to not only conjur up quite the blog updating mood, but follow through as well.

Tuesday night I went to Arianna Huffington's house with Jared, where we volunteered our time to help out Cory Booker, the fantastic canidate for governor of New Jersey. Highlights include:
*dressing up.
*rubbing elbows with rich people.
*rubbing elbows with a particular tv writer who is the reason fresh prince of bel air and the hughleys all have jokes of equal hilarity.
*cheese on crackers type delicacies.
*meeting cory booker.
He really is great. Please vote for him. And while you're doing that, please remind me how I know you, New Jersey friends.

When I told my mom about the event, without skipping a beat, the the first two things she says are:
1) Isn't Arianna pretty?
2) She must have had a great house.
I later enquired as to why she didn't express any surprise as to how or why I was at her house, to which she replied with "Oh, you do stuff like that all the time." I'll take that. When I told my dad, he didn't care at all. He did, however, care very much that I hadn't eaten dinner yet.

Speaking of my supportive family, Granny said something very funny yesterday: "Today I met a 20 year old girl from Japan. Magnificent painter. But she had a hair cut just like yours: terrible."

Not surprisingly connected, well fed, and poorly tressed,
Judy

Sorry to disappoing myself - I checked out Cory Booker online - he does not sound like a very appealing candidate ... but what do I know.

But I am sure you and Jared were a sight to be seen - where is the picture? Ah?

And now - a lovely nonsequitur that I got from my customer moments ago: "Education is what you get when you do not get what you want" Think about this one. Ha-ha.
