Updates that have nothing to do with the shower
- I am going to Long Beach for my dad’s birthday. The tally of Halloween parties I am missing is now four, but… well… I don’t mind all thattttt much because I can’t say I am not psyched to see my parents. I really like them.
- I am going to New York from Thursday, November 3 to Tuesday, November 8. The main reasons I am going are to see Amy and her new place, go to her formal in the Union Square W, and Jet Blue’s sale. I couldn’t be more excited. Perks include H&M and various lunchings with some of my favorite new yorkers. Expect an extremely detailed update.
- for the past month I stopped writing in my diary (a daily routine I have religiously followed since sophomore year). I thought, maybe the blog would be an adequate substitution. Coincidentally, this month, though fabulous, I have been suffering from this weird state of discontentment. Three days ago I reinstated my diary writing regime. I feel back to normal! I realized that this past month has just melded together – and I have become so addicted to daily self reflection, that without it, life is inconsequential and mildly depressing. These past three days I feel back to my deliriously happy self, appreciating the tiny things, and it is simply marvelous.
