Last days at 70s s

I tried to capture my last taping at 70s the best I could, but I got too carried away with actually saying bye to people to take enough pictures.
I reallllllly enjoyed myself the last day, I got to chat up some of my favorite writers and other various people, and the food was - as always, ridiculously delicious.
Here is the toilet I constructed for topher that won me the respect of the entire production office. It may not look impressive, but trust me, they were impressed.

This is the time Wilmer and I were best friends.

This is the time when the grip pretended to be my best friend. As you can see, he does a better job looking like my best friend than Wilmer - and even funnier - I look happier.

This is Ty, the newest PA. (I like him because he's even newer than me and so he is the only one who doesn't treat me like a rookie.) I was walking from stage to the office during a break in the taping and I ran into Ty while he was in the golf cart - he picked me up and we went to the other side of the cbs lot to the Half&Half stage. I talked up his roomate who works there, and other various crew members... as Ty and I enjoyed martinis. This is back at the 70s office, Ty and I looking way more hipster than we really are.

My other favorite thing about Ty is this following conversation.
*Stefen, one of the producers walks in*
Judy: Hey Stefen, do you play tennis?
Stefen: Not really. Why?
Judy: Hmm. You have the same kind of calves as my tennis coach.
*everyone in the office is asked if they play tennis*
Ty: I know my way around the court. I've been playing since I was 5.
Tim: Wow. You any good?
Ty: Eh. I was nationally ranked in high school, that how I got my scholarship for school.

Whatttt??? Who drops that into conversation after weeks of knowing someone?. Most people are eager to brag about that kind of stuff right when they meet you.

Enough about Ty. After the show, my dear friend Tim gave me a ride back to the dorms. He works in post production and is definitely one of my favorite people there. While we were driving he, in a very Ty-ish way, mentioned that he used to live with/work for Helmut Lang (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Helmut_Lang) and had to "wear that stuff all the time". I was impressed and excited, but mostly so I could tell Amy and Kate because I know they will probably the only ones who care.

It was so exciting to get back to the dorms. I visited Danny for a while, and we talked about possibly attending the Soulive show. Then I got to see Renata, which was wayyy exciting because we could just not manage to meet up all summer.
So in short, a completely fantastic friday.
