who's your shenat?

Well, let me start out with sending everyone my warmest, yet belated, Shena Tova.
As Ara informed me, Shenat Ova means "Who's your shenat?" in classical armenian. There's your interesting fact of the day.
I had a splendid New Year, complete with services attended by the one and only Mayim Bialik - ie the actress from our favorite childhood sitcom Blossom - but much more pregnant, less attractive, and a red hair net in place of a big sunflower hat.
That day I also got a letter from Kate which excited me to no end. Last year I put all the letters I recieved on my wall. Here is me, reinstating this tradition.

I'm hoping my bare wall will inspire you.
Speaking of exciting mail, I finally sent out my Apple application for the summer internship.

"I hope Hugh Grant me this position" Oh celebrity puns, always so professional. My address is in the upper left hand corner.. in case you need any more inspiration.
And speaking of reinstating last year's decorum, I put up all my vinyls in the restroom again.

Peeing has never been this much fun!
Or this aesthetically pleasing!
In other news, I remembered this Life Magazine contest in which you have to take a picture of a kiss as iconic as this:

Well, that was a fun way to spend Friday.
On a completely unrelated note - If something happens at the corners of life, and life is a circle - is something always happening or never happening?
