as erik has abused the honor system of blog commenting, i will veer this entry towards the interests of Bilingual Anonymous and Julia.

PROFESSIONAL MOVEMENT

my 2 month move to santa monica incited a google search of "santa monica jewish" which lead me to this hilariously endearing thread - and so started my love affair with fluther.

fluther has everything i'm all about: questions, woody allen references, the facilitation of social interaction based on pursuit of knowledge, efficiency but not at the expense of irreverence, pretext to talk to cute boys, and is awesome but not extremely well known - yet.

in love, i invited 2/3 of the team over for fruit and tea to discuss collaboration.
more love. lurve, really.

the next day, i filmed the play cast.

my ultimate immediate goal is to work with an awesome company being their staff videoblogger.
not me talking in front of a camera - but making mini cinematic interactive movies geared towards generating traffic, excitement, branding, and fun!

the past weekish has been divided between editing that and other job related activities such as:

pa-ing for character fantasy.
not only did i learn that i am horrendous at manual labor and using walkie talkies, but also how important it is to me to stick to my wardrobe principles of only wearing dresses. this resulted in me quitting/being fired. the first is probably more accurate but the second is way more exciting so let's stick with that.

also, i have been working with jared on an idea i've had since january. i'm much more interested in internet video than feature length documentaries intended for theatrical distribution, but this idea has got me so amped for so long i can't let it go:

an experiment based on orthodox jewish sexuality that i think takes the monotony out of monogomy.
we found an interested couple, and tomorrow night we are going to meet them and film them so we can make a pitch video.

also, i got asked to make a short documentary about tea for a new business, which is completely thrilling.

spending time with fluther boys has made me realize how much more i care about/fit in with internet culture than movie culture, and i plan on exploring this further this weekend in san francisco. also equally worthy of exploration is when i find a man who will traverse the internet in the name of appeasing my toilet paper standards as expressed unthinkingly on twitter.

I have no idea what commenting abuse you're referring to but I like your blogging and can't wait to see you in SF.
