So instead of being bored today, I took a lot of pictures of me pretending not to be bored - which ended up to be a lot more fun than I would have thought.
I woke up and then pretended to read this book (for some reason, I can't get past chapter 3)

I then looked through old pictures. I enjoy doings this immensely. Here are two of my favorites:

Then I tried to decide whether or not to return these boots I bought a couple of weeks ago with Kate.

And by decide, I mean take a picture wearing them where you can't really see the boots at all.
Then I painted these shoes.

Then I took pictures with cute phones I found in my house.

But I decided not only was my head missing, but various hats on my head.
Like this, the hat of warmth.

And this, the hat of protection.

I was so busy pretending to be on the phone, I missed John's phone call.
But I soon called him back.
And within the hour John, his dilated pupils, and I were at a fast paced game of ping pong.

I eventually wound up at my mom's house. Nina and I peeled cardemon, our new favorite spice, while I awaited Brian's arrival. Much fun was had by all. Especially Arcady, who took this picture.

My dear Brian came right on time, and soon we were off in his his little orange buggy to Open Sesame - his favorite place - where he also happens to have shady dealings involving a hard drive, 230 gigs of music, and a seedy hipster character.
Regardless, we managed to have ourselves a deliciously silly time.

My favorite Brian quote from this evening is an excerpt of conversation we had about his trip to India
B - "I had to get SIX shots. You know how much that cost me?"
J - "Which ones did you have to get?"
B - "Ah, you know, all the tight ones."
Maybe this is only funny to me, but still, way funny and classic Brian.
Anyway, after our fantastic grubbing, over conversation about his possible becoming of a monk, we listened to James Brown and tabla in his car.

Shower time!
(pictures pending)
(just kidding)
(i dont really take showers)
